My name is Gweneth and I am happy to share that I have been sober for 13 months thanks to the grace of God and Never 2 Scarred.
Sobriety is a big accomplishment for me. In fact, this 13 months is the longest period of sobriety I have kept since I started using drugs at age 13, some 23 years ago.
I was not raised in a Christian home and was never a believer. I came to N2S not wanting much to do with God, but really only looking for the quickest way out. But God knew it was just what I needed. Now let me tell you about MY JESUS! He is truly great and I love him so much! He brought me out of the darkest place and has shown me grace, love, peace and comfort. On August 12, 2023 I was baptized. I went down a sinner and up a sinner saved by grace through faith.
And now I stand before you, a new person with great joy and hope because as 2nd Corinthians 5:17 states, “anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun.”
